Loss Control 360 has a growing dataset of over 200 million photos with almost two and a half million more added each month. Machine learning now allows for computers to analyze these photos to identify items and improve underwriting, adding value for LC360 users.
Utilant has built multiple AI models for a variety of inspection scenarios – including commercial and residential settings – trained on hundreds of thousands of images from multiple datasets.
LC360 users can expect prediction accuracies of over 95% for some items, including electrical panels, A/C compressors, plumbing systems, swimming pools, and more, saving the user an average of 3 minutes per survey.
Over time as we train the AI model with a larger percentage of our photo collections, the AI will significantly improve its photo identification of both residential and commercial risks. The result of this training will be tighter predictions and even the ability to identify items that may be missed by the human eye.
In addition, this is planned to provide synergy with LC360’s Guide Stream 360 and Self-Survey modules to automatically identify items within photos uploaded by the agent or policyholder. These identified items will be able to trigger risk scoring and recommendation injection helping to underwrite risks and reduce losses.
As your dedicated field staff identifies and tags hazards in the field, the model will continue to learn and improve resulting in smarter predictions.
With LC360, an expanding dataset, involved client base, and artificial intelligence the capabilities offered within Loss Control 360 are limitless.
